Stone Fruit Medley (Sweet Dehydrated Slices)

Ingredients

            Apricots

            Nectarines

            Peaches

 

Method

1. Prep the fruit

            Wash, halve, and remove stones

            Slice into even wedges (about 5–8mm thick)

2. Optional (for colour preservation)

            Lightly toss in lemon juice to prevent browning

3. Arrange

            Place slices on dehydrator trays in a single layer (no overlap)

4. Dehydrate

            Dry at 55–60°C for 8–12 hours

            Fruit should be dry but still slightly chewy, not sticky

 

Storage

            Store in airtight containers or glass jars

            Keeps for 6–12 months in a cool, dark place

            For longer storage, refrigerate or freeze

 

Ways to Use

            Lunchboxes + on-the-go snacks

            Add to granola or yoghurt

            Rehydrate for fruit crumbles or compotes

            Chop into baking (muffins, loaves)

            Pair with cheese boards (especially blue or brie)
