1. Your Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have the right to cancel your order and return any item within 14 days of receiving your goods, for any reason and without penalty.
To exercise this right, you must notify us before the 14-day period expires. You can do this by emailing us at sales@ezidri-eu.com with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel your order.
Once you have notified us, you must return the goods to us within 14 days. Please ensure items are securely packaged to avoid damage in transit.
2. Return Shipping Costs
Change of mind returns: if you are returning an item because you have changed your mind, the cost of return shipping is your responsibility. We recommend using a tracked shipping service as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items: if you are returning an item because it is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described, we will cover the full cost of return shipping. Please contact us at sales@ezidri-eu.com before sending the item back and we will arrange collection or provide a prepaid return label.
3. Condition of Returned Goods
For change-of-mind returns, goods must be returned in their original condition and original packaging. We reserve the right to deduct an amount from your refund to reflect any reduction in the value of the goods if this has been caused by handling beyond what is necessary to assess the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
4. Refunds
Once we have received and inspected your returned goods, we will process your refund within 14 days. Your refund will include the original purchase price and the standard delivery cost you paid at checkout. We will refund using the same payment method you used for your original purchase.
If you paid for an express or upgraded delivery option, we will only refund the equivalent of our standard delivery cost.
5. EU Two-Year Statutory Guarantee
In addition to your right to cancel, EU law gives you a two-year statutory guarantee on all goods from the date of delivery. If your product develops a fault within this period that was present at the time of delivery, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.
For faults reported within the first 12 months, we will assume the fault was present at the time of delivery unless we can demonstrate otherwise. For faults reported between 12 and 24 months, you may be asked to provide evidence that the fault was present at the time of delivery.
This statutory guarantee is your legal right under EU law and is not limited by our commercial warranty terms.
6. Commercial Warranty
All Ezidri dehydrators come with a two-year commercial warranty from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use. This is in addition to your EU statutory rights.
The commercial warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised modifications, or normal wear and tear.
To make a warranty claim, email us at sales@ezidri-eu.com with your order number and a description and photo of the issue.
7. How to Return an Item
Email us at sales@ezidri-eu.com with your order number and reason for return. We will confirm the return address and any further instructions within 2 working days. Please do not send items back without first contacting us, as this may delay your refund.
